Syslog setup

Activex ,

First of al  THANK  you very much for this wonderful nifty tool ... makes my life easy .

I have configured  honeyconsle to connect to my existing snort Database and i can see all the reports and information , no problem . while going through documentation  , i read  abt  ability to integrate Syslog messages from the pix ( i would assume cisco ASA are also  supported) into honeynet console  , question is ,  How should i do it , do i need to install a sepearte SYSlog server (rsyslog ) and then run the perl script to import the information from the syslog into the Mysql DB by  scheduling the fisq.pl  OR  is there any better  method that we can use ?

Can you please educate  me on this ..
