I *think* i'm having problems getting the rules from emergingthreats.net to import into IDSPM.  I don't see any new rules even though the download completes with no error messages.  Any ideas where to look for hints on how to correct this? - Chris

I have the same update location (http://www.emergingthreats.net/rules/bleeding.rules.tar.gz) but I don't seem to be getting any new rules to download. 

I did get them to work, but only by downloading the rules file to my local computer and changing IDSPM to look at my local computer for the rules.  To make things easier for me, I created a batch file to download all the rules from all the different sites I use before starting IDSPM.

Also, it seems like there might only be a couple new rules added per day, but several will change.  Try subscribing to their mailing lists - they send out announcements of what rules changed.
