I'm using the version of IDS Policy Manager that's integrated with the Activeworx Security Center. I right-clicked on an event and saw a new context menu: IDS Policy Manager Its sub-menus are: View Snort Rule Disable Snort Rule View Snot Sensor Add Suppression for Source IP Add Suppression for Destination IP Yes, I have been doing it the hard way: searching for a rule, finding the correct policy and doing a manual edit. You can also view the IDSPM rule when viewing the full event details. so if you want to know why a rule was triggered when viewing an event, you can click on the bottom button on the right and the rule will be displayed.
