Problems with suppressions window

The IP address text box doesn't display for me in the Supression window, however if I tab from the Track drop-down, I can enter/edit the field even tho I can't see it.  I'm using the latest non-beta version. - Chris

Re: Problems with suppressions window

Could you please send a screenshot to idspm@activeworx.org? This text field should always be visible.

Cheers,

Jeff

The problem has to do with resizing the form. for some reason your video driver does not handle this the same as everyone else. I think it has to do with pixel size or font size or something. I have seen this problem once before on something else. not sure why it happens for some people but not for others. we will look into resolving this in the next build.

Cheers,

Jeff

Re: Problems with suppressions window

I would say it's caused by my drivers being set at 120 DPI (Under Display Properties > Settings > Advanced - General Tab).  This seems to be the factory default for my laptop due to the large screen.  I'm running a nVidia Quadro NVS 110M video card as well.  This isn't the first time I've had a problem like this.  If i set the DPI to 96 (like most people), then I can't read my normal fonts on my laptop.

Thanks for the help! - Chris

Re: Problems with suppressions window

Thanks a lot for the additional details. I could never re-create this even when I run 1900x1200, but I like my font really small. it's really nice to know why some people had this problem and I can now better test for this.

Cheers,

Jeff

Now I'm being referred too as a "once before on something else" .

J/K Jeff. I think a simple solution would be to make the suppression form resizable like most of the other forms in IDSPM.

The problem is the Font Size as mine is also @ 120.

see.. I knew I heard about this before. :)

yea.. the real problem is the suppression form and the threshold form are one in the same. it just removes part of the form and resized for the suppression. This is where is breaks with Font size of 120. I don't want to just add the ability to resize the form because people still won't see the ip box when the form loads. this isn't very clean. I am sure there is a simple way to fix it.. I just need to take a look.

Cheers,

Jeff
