I have one policy for two sensors. I just updated it. When I click on the Snort Sensors line, they both show as Status: "Updated" in the right-hand pane.

When you select "Upload Policies to Sensors", they show as "Sensor needs to be Updated".

It would be clearer (to me) if the Snort Sensors Status showed as "Needs Updated" instead of "Updated".

"Current" and "Updated" seem synonomous to me.

I guess I'm getting confused because I am in the left hand section titled "Snort Sensors" and the "Status" is showing "Updated". I'd like the wording to reflect that the sensor needs updated, not that the policy has been updated.

I don't see that column as being any different from the one you see when you select "Upload policies to Sensors".

But, that may just be me. :-)
