yea.. I have been thinking about this for some time.. but I wasn't sure how to go about doing it though. I think you inspired me and gave me some ideas. How does this sound?
Export form that has an option to select the output format. The available options are:
- .zip keeping directory structure
- .tar.gz keeping directory structure
- .zip all files in a single directory within the file
- .tar.gz all files in a single directory within the file
- single file snort.conf export
The problem is there are limitations to any one export option. I think these should cover the gamut and provide an export option that can work for just about everyone.
This is on my to-do list for the next release. A beta will be out probably after the beginning of the year.
