ASC error

I've installed the latest beta version of the IDS Policy Manager with ASC 4.0.  When I click on Settings, I get a message that says, "Can't find the IDS Policy Manager Tables.  Would you like to add them?"  When I click "Yes", I get a "Error Updating Schema" message.  The Update Locations window in the IDS Policy Manager settings is blank and does not contain any fields for adding rule sources.

Which schema file do I need to load and what database do I have to load it into?  I've tried this logged on as the internal administrator account and the domain admin account.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Craig

Re: ASC error

When you enable IDS Policy Manager in ASC, it will try to add the tables for you. To do this, the database user that is configured on your manager must have create permission on the primary ASC database.

If you want to add it manually you can find the schema file located in <installdir>\Schema\<DB Type>\snort-sig-v101.sql. just run this on the primary database (aw_asc) and you should be set.

Cheers,

Jeff
