STEM Explorations is a free, five-day experience for rising seventh and eighth graders in the Madison Metropolitan School District.

Working with scientists and engineers, students explore the collaborative nature of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) through hands-on lab experiences.

The camp experience will be held at the Discovery Building on the UW-Madison campus and provide opportunities for participants to connect with scientists and STEM professionals. Participants engage in hands-on activities learning how scientists and engineers solve problems, exploring the natural world, collecting data and making observations in their environment. Daily interactions with scientists, hands-on activities and campus explorations will help broaden the participant’s understanding of career opportunities in STEM fields at UW-Madison and beyond.
