Yes, university policy and federal statues require all UW-Madison faculty, staff and students to disclose inventions to WARF, regardless of the monies that funded the research. All Morgridge Institute researchers must also disclose to WARF. Part of this process will include an equity review through the university to review awards and contracts that contributed to the discovery.
